With the debacle of Stanford, WSU has become the debate of the century of whether to go for the NCAA records or give some playing time for our back up.

At his current pace, Halliday would throw for 5732 yards over 12 games.

If he regresses and throws for 300 YPG he would finish with 4844 yards.

The record is 5833 yards.

Yeah, but it's still going for the record regardless of pace. You can shoot for the goal while still coming up short. And not like the rest of the schedule sets up poorly for him to get 400 plus a game as long as the refs don't allow DB's to play the way they did with the Stanford game.

I'm just saying the fan base was pretty positive going into the Stanford game, now it has become the usual Leach bashing and whether or not to give one of the young QB's a few series a game.

Shoulda talked to me before you put any money on my Dodgers. As soon as I found out they were playing the Cards, I knew they were screwed. The Cards own their ass. Dodgers are 1-4 all-time vs. Cards in the playoffs. I'm still feeling the sting from Clark's homer off of Niedenfuer in 1985.

Come on Wazzu, both teams got away with some blatant hand checks on the routes, until the 4th qtr. that is. But you cannot say all those went Stanford's way, Daquawn Brown damn near pulled off Rector and Montgomery's helmets before the ball arrived on a couple of plays.
