Yep. But I think theyve been playing much better. Aside from montgomery trucking the whole unit they played well vs Furd.

I think the D is coming together nicely.

Well there's no team you simply ignore as an auto win this year if that's what you mean. Gone are the days of simply looking past Cal and Colorado and several mid/lower teams have moved up to be conf contenders.

Stanford doesn't go down field much, and Hogan telegraphs his hot routes badly. Geoff isn't like that.

There were at least 5 passes completed by Stanford to WIDE open receivers on completely blown coverages. Amplify that by 3x more passes and what will that game look like?

Yeah, I'm worried.

meh. I'm not overly worried, they are looking better. Front 7 is going to smash him. Sure we'll give up more pts than we did to furd but I foresee a double digit easy win for UW.

Ah, so you think two weeks of practice will help Miles to be able to complete screen passes to guys in stride now do you? Seems to be 80% of their offense so it would be nice if he has.

Bigger question is which game is your pick of the week? The oregon game, or the zona game. Both are interesting big games.

Looking likely now. Cal at 60 pending a PAT (or 2pt more likely) and WSU has over 3 mins left to answer sitting at 59.

I like Miles. I think he'll improve, yes. I don't think he'll reach his potential under Smith though.

Not sure how they'll all come but we are going to score a lot vs Cal. We arent playing Furd and in every other game Miles has started this season we're averaging over 45 a game. Soft D's all of them, sure. Guess what Cal has? A soft D. Maybe the softest yet.

UW might not have a strong secondary, but I'm seeing improvement and that front 7 isn't anything resembling soft.


So I'm thinking 55-31 ish
