Given the circumstances and obstacles we faced to complete that comeback... I still don't know how we did it. When they signaled touchdown I went ape shit for about 10 minutes straight. Holy FUCK. BTFD! :suds:

It's the o-line thats going to screw you guys at some point.

Got to get em healthy sooner or later.

Mariota's health is directly tied to it.

The preseason all American is due back in 3 weeks at left tackle. Andre may come back a little later, and Johnstone is out for year

Cal is a lil better eh? Holy smokes.

Yeah it's a tough pill. Everytime Mariota went down tonight I was thinking he aint gonna last with that going on every game.

On the downside UAs streak of 20 straight games with a 100 yard rusher is over. Longest in FBS since 1993 if I'm correct.

Watching the FSU/Clemson highlights...

Since when does being suspended mean you get to run around the sideline and give halftime speeches?

Was wondering about that myself. Maybe it was because it was only for the first half, but Hayes Pullard had to stay in the locker room for the 1st half of our game vs. BC last week because he was suspended for the targeting hit vs. Stanford.

I was under the impression that he wasn't allowed on the sidelines per NCAA rules. Maybe Winston's was because it was a team suspension and not an NCAA mandated suspension?

Either way, not sure how allowing him to be on the sidelines, working with Maguire and giving halftime speeches drives home the lesson that the suspension was supposed to teach him.

Also, did anyone catch how he came out in full uniform before the game and started warming up? The :wtf2: look on Jimbo Fisher's face when he had to send him back to the locker room was priceless.

That's what I thought after they beat Stanford last year. Let's see if they can play like this consistently every week.

eh? They already had two losses going into the Stanford game. Going into the Big House and thumping them is a great win.

The South to me seems wide open now. A bunch of good teams with no one head and shoulders above the rest. I thought UCLA was going to run away with the south this year, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Utah looks more focused to me.

We'll soon see. Conference play is here! :suds:

Why do WSU fans hate Leach? How in the world will they do better in this PAC climate?

Cause last night is a massive misrepresentation of Mike Leach's tenure thus far.

-This is the first game he has had in Pullman in his 3 years where he was not massively outcoached and his team actually played well. He even got outcoached at their SC win.

-First time in his 3 years that it looks as though he has actually developed players.

-First time he has ever adapted his offense to attack the defense. Instead of just running it once and it not work then give up on it, he actually made Oregon respect the run game.

-First time I have seen him actually go and talk to his defensive players (specially Cooper) on the sidelines after they had played their asses off on the field as well as get on his defensive guys when they blew coverages.

-And finally, the first time he has actually seemed like he was the coach at Washington State University, not the University of Mike Leach. He (seemed) to check his ego at the door last night and put his players in the best position to succeed.

There are a ton of us who have hated on basically everything the guy has done since his first spring game but we have to give credit to him for the game last night. There really isn't a real negative thing I can say about him from last night. Kudos to him.
