Reminded me of that officiating game when you guys play @ Texas AM in your final season with the Big12. There was some bs calls on you guys that kept MSU drives alive. Epsecially that "late hit" out of bounds on their QB that set up for their final TD. Your player got obviously pushed.

Yeah there were some horrible calls, but nothing close to being like the aTm game. We got lucky enough to win with our trademark turnover and legitimate penalty problems, which won't be good enough to win the Rose Bowl if we make it there.

I thought the B1G was bad but when I check the stats, the PAC is the worst.

#1, 3, 5, 7, 12 and 13 most penalized are PAC teams.

Maybe Larry Scott is not the fucking genius I thought he was. PAC crews suck hairy yeti balls.

yeah, but one could argue that MSU doesn't get a TD without that bogus late hit call and it's a different ball game.

I guess it did even out in the end, I just think it was poor officiating and Nebraska got the worst end of it.

That last call pissed me off because the guy who called the PI was behind the action. From his angle, it would have been impossible to see the actual contact taking place. A lot of bad PIs are really just calls that are very hard to make in real time. That call was different, it was a blatantly out of position ref making a call that made no sense.

The B1G refs are normally the best in football, but that was very questionable.

Wonder what the average age of the ref's were last night. The head referee looked to be, well let's just say, retired twice over.

I don't feel sorry for this win in any way. There were bad calls against both teams that effected the game.
I can look at the stats and see if it weren't for the typical turnovers (3 int's) NU ran the ball on that defense well enough to win by 14 or more. Bo needs to put the reigns on Beck's fluff so that he stops putting this team into these come from behind situations.

Nebraska has run the ball successfully against 4 top 20 defenses now in the last 5 weeks, but Beck keeps trying to make something out of Martinez that he's not (a prototypical passer). I believe this team can run the ball on anyone in the country and without the INT's they would be well in position to win the game from midway thru the 3rd Q on. NU did not need to throw the ball on 1st downs, 3rd and shorts etc..

Beck's play calling is truly the definition of insanity and Bo needs to get him under control.

BTW..Similar to the other Rushing Defenses NU has played this year...Mich St's rushing Defense fell from 7th nationally to 20th.

Do you think Beck is convinced after 5 weeks now with the # 26th ranked Penn St rushing defense coming to town?
