Yeah I think there will be something else, and Jones should be optioned. I don't see him as anything more than a throw in and a career minor leaguer at this point, could be wrong though.

It will get us past the draft, but won't it be a problem with the 40 man once he is announced? Won't it still require putting him on the 40 then?

I do feel the idea of playing with Robbie Cano and learning some of the things that he’s done through the years will help him. I feel like this environment will be a plus for Leonys, and I know he’s excited about coming to play here."

Like playing with Adrian Beltre was of no consequence. And that long standing winning tradition in Seattle is nothing to sneeze at either. Really?

They have catchers at 16 and 22 and that is definitely a position where we could use some prospects in our system.
