Not the city itself. Oakmont, where the US Open has been played a couple times. It's on the Allegheny, about 20 min or so from "dahn-tahn." We might want to consider staying up that way next fall, when we all get together for a game. No hotels in Oakmont itself, but some decent places right across the river in Harmarville.

Oh. You wouldn't recognize the course today. They took out 5000 trees, let the rough grow to like six inches, and turned it into a "links" course...thereby stripping me of ANY desire to play it.

I stayed by one hole, and saw everyone go by. Except the one I really hoped to see...Phil. Hurt himself in practice, and didn't play.
