Yeah I run them all through the tree, all white lights.
A pain in the ass actually.
Can't talk my wife into the artificial one though.

My wife had to talk me into it..
We used to just leave the lights on the real tree because it was such a pain in the ass, then burn it in the backyard.

Mornin, MS. Nope, didn't fall, but damn near froze. Putting all those lights up in sub-20 weather without gloves. Gave me a new respect for Misko's work.

I've got an artificial tree. It's pre-lit, but the lights are all white, so I always put on a few strings of colored lights. It'll go up later today...got the outside lights taken care of yesterday.

Nice North,
We haven't done outside lights for a couple years. Maybe next year we'll get them up again. When we built the house, we put outlets in the soffits to plug them in, then put a switch in the foyer closet to turn them off and on.

Good planning, JR. I'm in a pre-Civil War home. No outside outlets in the front, so I run a heavy duty extension cord around from the back. It goes to a 3-way splitter, and powers everything in the front. My lights are all LED, so no problem connecting stuff end to end, and running it all off of one outlet.

And it's all on a timer. On at 4:30, off at midnight. Some folks leave theirs on all night, but I don't see the point.

Afternoon, sc. I noticed that your b/f has already thrown in the towel on the Bengals/Texans game...for shame.
