Riot, when I want to recycle, I have to take it to a station. They don't pick it up here, so I just let the recyclables accumulate until I have enough to justify a five-mile trip.

The police here have begun actively patroling for individuals who go around and steal recycleables from peoples bins.
They say once it hit's the curb, it is the property of the waste co.
Tough times when people have to steal your trash.......

Geez, don't the cops out your way have anything better to do? Far as I'm concerned, it's still my fucking property until it's picked up, and anyone desperate enough to steal it is welcome to it!

And considering who owns most of the waste companies, you'd think the cops wouldn't lose any sleep over their "property rights."
