Question: Contact with receivers is allowed within 5 yds of the line of scrimmage, right? Is it legal to hit those receivers HARD in that zone? Not head-hunting or anything? Just some good hits to slow 'em down a little, and keep them from completing short routes. That could buy time to get to you-know-who.

KEMOEATU FINED $25,000

LG Chris Kemoeatu is not happy that he's $25,000 lighter in the pocketbook after being fined for two penalties he committed last Sunday in Arizona. The NFL fined him $10,000 for his face-mask violation against Cardinals DE Darnell Dockett and $15,000 for the late hit he put on LB Paris Lenon. "I came out healthy for the most part. That's real good news," Kemoeatu said. "I did OK in the game, but I did mess up. I had those two penalties which I'm getting fined for. I have to be a little more careful about getting stupid fines like that. I have to clean it up a little."

Yeah Blue, I come in early to work so I can deal with all the e-mails I miss from the previous day. Most time I average about 30 e-mails and normally half require my immediate attention. This drives my schedule for the day. It takes awhile to get through them all, hence e-mail jail.
