Nice game for some of the rooks last nite. Dwyer and Rainey both look like the have spots on the 53 man roster, already.

I hear ya about Wallace. Brown is electric! That screen pass he took for a TD was a highlight reel performance, for sure. Even if it was a preseason game, that was still damn impressive.

Wallace is an idiot. He has zero leverage. I heard the talk last nite during the game and Collinsworth said he should be in Pittsburgh this week. Don't know how much truth there is to that...

Pedro Alvarez hit a solo homer in the 19th, and they tacked on two more later in the inning for a 6-3 win. More importantly, they took two of three from St. Louis, who are right behind the pirates in the standings.

this was a vital series for the pirates if they had lost this series it might have been the end of their season,the way it turned out it should give them momentum for the remander of the season
