My dear Gracie who we had to put down a number of months ago, was seriously afraid of thunder and shit, fireworks mostly.
She never got over it from a young puppie who was abused before we rescued her.
Had her 12 yrs.

I have had several that were abused,I have a jack russel that for the 1st year he was here I couldn't touch him I kept him shut up for 1 week and turned him loose he knew where the food and water was and stayed,over time he has become a pretty good little dog,,,runt is about 8yrs old now

I have a small dog he might go 16lbs and he is scared to death his whole body shakes when it's thundering

I took mine through the car wash for the first time the other day, she did the whole body shake thing too. Tried to climb on my lap in the truck, lol. She's about 65lbs..

Ghost, we saw a thing where you rub the dog with fabric softener sheets and it will help calm them.
Say the static in the air or some shit, seemed to help a bit for us.

LOL, I loved how Juice called you a socialist. I doubt you and I agree on much, but his feudalistic stance on Q1 was disgusting.
