No not at all. You are on a short field. So the defense is closer to the box then normal. If you want to give Kaep the chance to pick it up with his legs, then spread the defense out there. It is the only way to maximize space with a short field. Not rolling out, when the defense can all crash one way.

I completely agree. Believe it or not, I have faith on our offense. Vernon Davis came to play. It's the defense that worries me. Justin Smith is being manhandled and Aldon is close to taking this game over if he is able to take the right angle.
