Hahahah, yes. But in all seriousness, we have a stockpile of dmen in the system. We have an NHL top 6 that's locked up, a guy in Despres that's basically READY, and plenty of other guys that will probably be in the NHL throughout the system. All our best prospects are defensemen. I can't BELIEVE Jurco AND Saad were on the board and they passed. I get not wanting guys that have knocks on them for not being hardworkers, but with that talent? Gah. Pittsburgh kid passed on.

Maybe the Pens will wheel and deal (TK's rights?) to get a pick in the high end of the 2nd round. I really would like one of Saad or Jurco still. There's still some good W talent available.

Tyler Kennedy's rights for a 2nd round pick? Yeah right. You aren't talking about Vokoun here. You're talking about a guy who got let go by Buffalo because they didn't want him anymore. It worked out great for him. He got paid twice this past season.

I'm saying there's a team stupid enough to give him something in that range. Example: Colby Armstrong makes 3 million a year. The Pens do need wingers, but not TK type wingers. TK screams Maple Leafs. Though they just traded their 2nd rounder....DANG IT. It wouldn't be Tk's rights straight up, it'd be a pick swap too. In my head that is...

There's a thought. Only issue is that he could get screwed because it's merely TKs rights. And going to a place like FLA? I guess if they offer him big money he'll stay.
