Timonen was scratched for Game 6.
I think he has already played enough for us to get the highest pick possible out of our deal to send him to Chicago but it would be nice to see him play well and not have his career end being a healthy scratch.

Correct. If Anaheim wins on Saturday, it's a 3rd. If Chicago wins, it's a 2nd.

1. Good pickup for the Sabres.
2. I'd love to have Murray as an Asst under Hakstol.
3. The Flyers just signed a LW today to entry level contract but I'm to lazy to post it.

So, which former Flyers will hoist the Cup this year? Sharp/Timonen/Versteeg or Coburn/Carle?

As much as I'd like to see Timonen get a ring, it won't break my heart to see another champion not playing in the western conference. However, the Hawks are as clutch as it gets. I just don't see them losing.

The most interesting part will be knowing that either Kimmo or Braydon Coburn will get their first cup - should be fun to watch

reading back through some draft threads for fun, just to see who we liked and how they turned out.

first interesting note, 4706 was clamoring for getting MDZ in 2012.

2012

Maata and Koekkoek got the most attention. Skeij got some as well. Koekkoek went to TB right before the Flyers pick, 44 points in the AHL this year and a couple games in the NHL.

Maata obviously has been a great pick for the Pens a couple picks after us.

Flyers went with Laughton.

2013 - didn't find a good thread, maybe it's out there though

2014 - I wanted Virtanen or Kapenen. Seemed to be a pretty big swatch of folks we would've been happy with. None have turned out as good as Sanheim though 1 year in I would say.

there we go..

2013

Lots of Nurse love. I was big on Pulock. Morrissey got some attention. Ristonlainen got some praise. Nichuskin.

tid bit of fun, I mentioned that timonen would need replaced by 2014/2015 :). also said I really didn't want the Flyers to take Morin :P. And after he was taken, the Morin pick was not well liked at all!

Pulock had 29 points in 54 games for Bridgeport (NYI) this season.
