Eugene leaving the team had nothing to do with Hootie. He was benched late in the season anyway. He will transfer along with two other DB's because they see that they will not get the playing time. Tough competition for DB's at DBU.

Not sure about Malachi being a lock.

This class is going to be special.

Malachi is definitely a lock, talked to their head coach he said he will without a doubt sign with LSU as will Kenny Young.

I know Hootie had nothing to do with Eugene leaving the team, I am saying Eugene leaving had a lot to do with Hootie changing his mind.

CJ Hampton, thought to be a lock to flip to Bama for months, isn't really looking that great right now. I'm hearing that there is a good chance he recommits to Ole Miss. I have no idea why someone would decommit 2 days before an announcement if they were recommitting to the same team. I still think he's picking Bama, but others don't feel as good now as they did the last few months.

I hope so, it's tight. I think he'll commit to us tomorrow or else he'd never have decommitted from ole sis in the first place. I don't know, but it's not as clear cut as it was thought to be a little while ago.

There's still a chance Hootie will recommit either way, but I think he's headed to LSU. The Bama staff aren't going to beg him back, we've got too many big fish on the line, they're gonna let him be, and whatever he does...he just does. I don't know if CJ's decision has any impact on what Hootie wants to do. Some people don't think he'd even play safety at Bama.
