Ok so it's going to be interesting to see if Looney is healthy for the offseason and how much time he could miss. He had an ankle injury suffered at the Senior Bowl that prevented him from working out at all this offseason.

We don't need him as a starter this year so he has time to heal and learn.

So my thoughts are he's fairly physical but needs alot of developing. Needs alot of work in the weight room. Not a great pass protector. Sloppy lower body. Struggles with quick, speed peneatrators. Fletcher Cox absolutely manhandled him when they played.

Too high for me but I love the violence he plays with.

Sounds about what I have for him, except for the weight room. He needs to work on his lower body. Extremely strong upper body, no leg and hip strength.

A number of people had him closer to the 6th round as well. I would have preferred to see this move in the late 5th but what's done is done.

Lions trade the No. 117 pick to the 49ers for fourth- (No. 125) and sixth-round (No. 196) picks.

The Bengals are absolutely dominating this draft. The Steelers are having a very strong draft as well.

Kilgore and Looney have some similarities. Kilgore was one of the nastiest players you'll ever meet but didn't need as much developing in the lower half like Looney does. Kilgore got Larry Allen comparisons in the nasty department. Looney has some of that but not nearly as much.

I didn't realize Sopoaga and RJF were both in their final year. Wonder if we should have considered Ta'amu in this round.
