Schefter:

Teams open to trading up if right player is there include Jacksonville, Buffalo, Philadelphia, San Diego, New England, Green Bay.

Teams open to trading back for the right offer include Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Miami, Seattle, Dallas, NY Jets, Detroit.

-------------

Adam Schefter reported on ESPN's SportsCenter draft special Thursday that the Jaguars have "made some calls to move up" with under five hours left before the first round.

Updating a previous item, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Jaguars' trade-up target is Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon.

"The Jaguars would love to find a way to get Justin Blackmon," Schefter reported. The seriousness of Jacksonville's interest in moving up is unclear, but Schefter reports Jaguars GM Gene Smith is aware that Blackmon will not be available at the No. 7 overall pick. In order to secure this year's top-rated wide receiver, the Jaguars would have to leapfrog the Rams' pick at No. 6.

Please make the move to get him!

Who the Niners want at No. 30
4:42PM ET
San Francisco 49ers

In a pre-draft session with the media last week, San Francisco 49ers GM Trent Baalke intimated that the team already has a particular player in mind for their first-round selection at No. 30 overall, and added that the club felt confident that this prospect would be available to them at that spot.

Baalke did not reveal the identity of this player for obvious reasons, but Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee did some digging and came up with a list of potential picks, including his opinion on the chances that each player will be the Niners' choice.

The prospect with the highest chances on Barrows' list is Midwestern State OG Amini Silatolu, who would occupy the starting RG slot and form a nice tandem with 2010 first-rounder Mike Iupati. Next on the list is West Virginia OLB Bruce Irvin, a player whose character concerns have outshined his on-field production; in fact, some have hinted that Irvin's first step is as explosive as any pass-rusher's in this year's class. Others speculated as targets by Barrows include Stanford TE Coby Fleener, Baylor WR Kendall Wright, Georgia Tech WR Stephen Hill, Wisconsin O-linemen Kevin Zeitler and Peter Konz, LSU WR Rueben Randle, North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins and Boise St. RB Doug Martin.

So, in other words, it's a pretty wide open pick, whether Baalke believes they have their man in mind already or not. Oh, and the Niners have also been cited as a team potentially looking to trade down as well, so there should be some intrigue as the clock ticks down at No. 30.

Reports: Lions trying to trade into top 15 in NFL draft | Detroit Free Press | freep.com

A few hours before the NFL draft, trade talk is starting to heat up, and the Detroit Lions are front and center in the discussions.

According to multiple reports, the Lions have called teams around the league in an effort to move into the top 15 and get the defensive back they sorely need.

Whom the Lions are targeting remains a bit of a mystery. ESPN’s John Clayton reported this morning the object of their affection might be Alabama safety Mark Barron, while the NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora reported that the Lions are after South Carolina cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

---------

Last year, the Lions offered first-, second- and fourth-round picks to the Arizona Cardinals in an effort to move up and draft Patrick Peterson. The Cardinals declined the offer and took Peterson themselves.

It still makes me sick how this "event" is being tailored to the common fan. The red carpet stuff makes me sick.

Wow! Great trade for the Vikings because the Flush-it-downs already have Joe.

Glazer is reporting that the Vikings still hope to move down even after this trade.

Who do the Browns want - Kalil?

They ensured themselves that they will get Richardson. Schefter, Glazer, Mort, and Casserly all are reporting that is who they will still select. (Rotoworld). Schefter reported that the Browns "felt a little panicked."

Nah, they already have Joe Thomas. I'm guessing they want Tannehill.

It's Richardson who they want. Vikes raped the Browns for that trade. Especially since they picked up 3 picks and only moved down 1 pick overall.
