Boy that weather changed today. Earlier I was out running around with the wife and I had a light jacket on. Now it's snowing and the wind is so cold I went out for a sit in the hot tub and turned around, hung my head, and pouted on my way back inside. Too friggin cold out as the hot tub temp would fall from 105 degrees to upper nineties in minutes and my balls would fall off if I got em wet and got out of the tub.

The old rule is 1 inch of ice is made every day that the temp doesn't get over freezing point.

I haven't been out yet to see how it is. Standing Bear was thick as shit at one point last year.

I'll do that, we lease a spot for the season down there? I'm going to try and take a week vacation toward the end of May during the walleye bite. The water level has been so low, crappie fishin' has sucked but I can't say I tried to hard for them last year.

I typically troll, very seldom do I ever drift or jig.
