I think we need to make a big jump this year on defense before we can start talking about college football playoffs

i'd agree with this. i think there is potential to make that jump with a bunch of returners on DL and Mo/Lamar/Bootle back and hopefully they can find some good guys to plug in at the other LB spots. i think Safety will be fine.

S&C seemed like a big emphasis and hopefully is getting us caught back up.

Oh believe me sir I know that's what I've been doing for the last 8 years and I'm currently doing that this summer

@tometom yeah I agree also the defense is going to be playing faster just knowing the scheme better strength and conditioning will be better I expect more turnovers this year. We will be a much-improved football team and we lost five games last year by a touchdown or less and now I have to believe that were at least two touchdowns better on offense this year.

To be honest with you I could see a push for a playoff I don't think the big ten is nearly as top heavy now without Urban I do think that Michigan is probably going to be the best team in the conference. However I don't think that they are unbeatable their defense is damn good but their offense just isn't clicking

It just needs to get here because now I'm just going in circles
