Never fished Wanahoo. No desire to, either. I heard it has some good fish in it, but it has way too much pressure. I don't like crowds. I can get lunker bass less than 2 miles from my front door.
Being an alumni of Boys Town, I do occasionally get permission to fish their private lake. Loaded with dink bluegill, big bass and decent channel cat (when you can find them).

I've always like Elwood with it no wake rule. It makes for a nice fishing reservoir and over the years I caught some really nice walleyes, perch, white bass and gills. Merritt is another one I like but that place can be a hard place to catch fish due to so much bait fish. I also fished McConaughy but only on the week days to many dumbasses on it during the weekends.

I hate the fast, stabbing pain that just shows up in some random area of the body. I could be just walking along, shopping with the wife and "BAM!" A mysterious pain shoots through my left shoulder blade.
