Winning the conference tourney still gets you a trophy and the title. Getting a regular season title is cool, but a conference tournament title is even bigger, IMO, because it generally means you're playing your best ball going into post season.

Bring that trophy back to Lincoln!

Plus, no one will be talking about some school that won the regular season of the Big. They'll be talking about the Huskers shocking everyone going projected last to winning the tourney.

Oh I'd be plenty happy if we won the tournament.

It jest doesn't go down in the books as being Conference Champions is all.

We will get our first B1G Championship next year.

I see that Brent Musburger signed a contract with the sec network and will no longer announce football games on ABC or ESPN. Thank god we don't have to listen to him anymore.
