Yes they were terrible but the defense was even worse leading up to those goals. We turned the puck over all over the ice, we let them dominate zone time, we took stupid penalties, we put all the pressure in the world on MAF & eventually he broke.

You can blame the D leading up to the tying goal, but the OT winner was 100% MAF - a 1 on 3 unscreened wrist shot from just inside the blue line - easily one of the worst goals I've even seen, let alone in OT in a playoff game. I fully expect the Pens to use an amnesty buyout on him in the offseason.

I wouldn't buyout someone who has just a year left on their contract. I think we would be better off just trading him if we wanted to get rid of him so badly.

At this point I'll take a goal in any situation whether it be short handed power play or even strength from anyone at any time. We need this game tonight its a huge game and may define the series.

The only guy who missed legitimate time was Vinny in December - and I still think Vinny came back too soon, he shouldn't have come back until at least after Christmas, imo
