Ingredients
• 1/2 package Betty Crocker® pie crust mix (1 1/3 cups)
• 1 package (10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
• 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
• 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of asparagus soup
• 1 can (9 1/4 ounces) tuna in water, drained
• 1/2 can (16-ounce size) whole potatoes, drained and cut into quarters
• 1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)

Instructions
1. Heat oven to 425º. Prepare pie crust mix as directed on package for one-crust pie. Shape pastry into flattened square on lightly floured cloth-covered surface. Roll pastry into 8-inch square. Cut small slits in pastry. Mix remaining ingredients; pour into ungreased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Cover with pastry. Bake about 35 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.


I think I remember something about Tuna Helper Pot Pie, incase people are out there trying to duplicate it. Both bottom and top crust recipes called for an egg each. The bottom crust is the packet of flour (or whatever), 3 Tablespoons of water (I think) and one egg. It was thick, and you spread out with a spoon all along the pie pan. After you did that, you put your filling in, and then the top crust. There was a separate packet for that, and it required 1 egg. It was runnier than the bottom crust, and it was more like pancake batter. You poured it on top. When the top crust baked, it was kind of spongy.

With more tips and hints from other lovers of Tuna Helper Pot Pie, perhaps we can put together the clues on how to make it ourselves.
