Been OK, 'cept that it's like a blast furnace here. I finally had to drag the air conditioner up from the basement yesterday, and wrestle it into the window. Eighty pounds of dead weight and sharp edges. The weight I can handle, but it's so fucking cumbersome. I gotta get central air one of these days.

yea ya cant survive without a/c.. had an old house without central air .. those window units are awkward to lug around

You got that right. My place was built in 1855. I use box fans in the upstairs windows to make it livable for sleeping, but I need a/c in the kitchen/family room, to keep the dogs and meself from dying of heat stroke during the day.

Just remembered...something I gotta finish here at work. BBL.
