well I went out before it got to hot and checked on my deer stand and feeder to see if they were still there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,alls well

Sounds good, Ghost. I'm the world's worst deer hunter (armed hiker is more like it). But I'm good at nailing pheasants and geese. And they ARE easier to carry back to the car.

mostly around home,,,arkansas, once in a while I will book a hunt in one of the neighboring states,,,,,,

missouri,kansas and ilinoise have some really good deer hunting,and their deer are larger bodied than those in arkansas

yeah I have an exciting life,,,,so exciting that I start getting ready for the season 4.5 months before it gets here

Oh...I've been to your state a couple times. I had relatives in a little place called Fairfield Bay. It's on a big lake with a small mountain in the middle of it. Beautiful country, but I still have a couple of scars from the no-see-em bugs...didn't use repellant on the first trip...damn near bathed in it on the second.

Fishing...now THAT sounds good. Maybe I could squeeze in a trip this weekend. The western basin of Lake Erie has some of the best perch and walleye fishing on the planet.

At least around here, the walleye don't fight much...they just pull straight back. Bringing up a big one is like hauling up a log, but they are good eating. Most of the folks around here prefer yellow perch if they're going to eat fish, but I'll take walleye every time.
