My Mom is and she borrowed the free Choo shirt that I got at one of the games. She got the best kind of tickets. Free tickets, lower level.

I know what you mean by that as he has done a good job considering the situation but the slash line of 217/321/304 to Choo's 314/432/500 is what we are missing.

Major difference. It's amazing we are where we are with all the replacements we have relied on but hats off to them for all they have done to keep us in contention and to JD for putting them there.

To be fair his line is a bit better than that since replacing Choo in the lineup

By all means double check me, but I think his line in the last 5 games (since Choo's been out) is: .200/.310/.250

So actually a bit worse than his season numbers.

Me/you/us and the rest of the baseball world had us struggling to be around .500. And of course it's sill late April and things can change fast. But today, I'm delighted and amazed we're where we are from a record standpoint.

I do think it's important we don't keep putting this much pressure on Chirinois, Wilson, etc to play at such an elevated level. They don't have the track record or stamina to continue to do so.

Agree but I'm sure Chirinos will be playing a lot till Soto can play full time but his knee will probably hold him back a while. As for as stamina, we would be extremely lucky if they can keep it up. Hope for the best.

Still think Fielder should hit 4th. At least give it a try. Hitting 3rd isn't working.

Hope Darvish has a better start vs the A's tonight. Hopefully pitching in our Ballpark will help as his track record at their stadium is rough.

I think being in our ballpark will be tougher because I'm sure Melvin will stack lefties in their line-up. He needs to rely on his fastball more against them because they're good at laying off his off speed.

Hopefully hitting at home helps Fielder. The guys grace period is running out. First thing I'd do is bench him a game or two. What's it matter? He's not gonna catch Cal Ripken.
