The NHL is a fucking joke. This league has zero integrity. NBA 2.0.

Haha. It is. I seriously don't have it in me to complain about the refs. It would have to be Brett Hull in the crease bad for me to get worked up.

There is a difference between bitching about petty little calls, but to literally take a game away from you is rough

Yea, we still had a chance to win it in the shootout, but that whole thing should not even of had to take place. We scored, it got taken away on the wrong call.

I'm frustrated, you would be too if this type of incident cost you a win.

I don't blame Chris for being heated, I was miffed at the refs last Sunday in Detroit as I thought they made some bogus penalty calls that ultimately led to the Wings tying the game before winning it in OT. To score the winning OT goal only to have it called back, that's a tough one to swallow.

I hear ya, but the rules only apply when a ref has his head out of his ass. Very very bad call. It happens, we'll get it back somewhere. Our team still looks great!:D

Yeah I hear you, this team is definitely killing it. Looking forward to the game at 1pm tomorrow already!

Yeah man, definitely tough to swallow. Not taking anything away from the Flames they definitely earned 2 points in this game, they played well.

Feel much better now that the guys on the NHL network agree that the ref made a mistake, and that this incident is not even remotely on the same level as the Avery incident. If we ever get a video on youtube I think most of you will agree.

Hey Pronger was laughing in the locker room after that loss!

Me wants video of the infraction, or alleged infraction.

I hear ya, man. I'm just saying me personally, I figure it all evens out and move on pretty much right away. I know I'm in the minority with that though, given the reactions at the arenas. I also don't like the attitude that PP's "give the game away" since it's not like it's an automatic goal.

Too scared? Lol. Why?

Yup, it was a lousy miss.

I thought I remember you saying the Caps have a bad record when you start the GNT threads. And when I saw you post on this thread with no GNT for teh Caps, I thought you were too scared to start one.. I was going to for you, as you started a Pens GNT for me one the time...

Yeah but when it costs you points it does matter, look at the Flyers last year scraping into the playoffs on a shootout win. These points matter.

Hey Pronger was laughing in the locker room after that loss!

That's fine as long as Ilya Kovalchuk isn't around.

...

And where is the video of this penalty!? Al Gore is not happy with you right now, internet. Do your job.

You are right, it's no where near the level of Avery... but I still don't like the idea of any player putting their hands up in front of a goalies' mask. That's my point.

Does anybody else find it amusing that somebody calling Crosby "Crysby" is leading the cry brigade?....I do!....

Looks to me like Pronger definitely intended to block Kiprusoff's sight-line. I'm sorry Chris, but Pronger definitely wasn't "directing Richards to the corner". Kipper gave him a wicked slash though. The correct call probably should have been to give each team a penalty. My guess is we'll hear a "intent to blow the whistle" explanation again, lol.

Just watched the vid...eh...I don't know. I have a strong bias against the Flyers obviously, but that's a tough one to take. I think that's more of the slippery slope thing...they don't want to allow this and then have to sort out a spectrum of what is allowed and what isn't in regards to that type of thing. I see your point though.

I find it amusing that some people still think "Crysby" is clever and that some people over the age of 12 actually use it in a conversation.
