The NHL is a fucking joke. This league has zero integrity. NBA 2.0.

So be it... Flyer fans see it one way, the rest of the fans see it another... yes it was a tough call, but I'm happy it was made... again, there is no need for those types of antics in the NHL. Period, end of story on my part.

Rest of the fans? I'm glad you speak for everybody now, what a champion. Your story blows and your facts dont add up.

Apparently, I missed a heck of a finish...Sounds like the Flames should take the two points and sneak out of Philly, though.

Despite what some haters are saying, you should be glad to have 2 points here. Not saying the Flames played bad, they probably outplayed us lol. But the game was won by the flyers then taken away.

Don't trip on that just asking troll chris, he or she or it is just another Crysby homer who should have been left in the swamp!

Until the Richards OT winner that wasn't, the Flyers were getting every call.

And it was quite nice.

Dude, I get that nice feeling for 82 games + playoffs. It's pretty awesome. All I have to do is send Uncle Gary a fruit basket around Christmas and his birthday. He likes kumquats.

Yes that is obvious to me. Just dont see how anybody can relate this incident to the Avery incident, when Pronger wasnt even facing Kipper and his arm was in the air for such a brief moment. People act like he was so blatantly being obnoxious.

So frustrating.

Where to go with the puck, so he could tip the shot. Since you're Pronger I guess you can just give me all the facts, because you obviously know everything. So tell me Pronger, what exactly was your intentions on the play?

Thanks for being Pronger.

Here I thought you were Pronger telling everyone that "I was clearly telling Richards what to do".... sorry, I couldn't resist...

But anyway, like I said, the NHL doesn't need crap like that in the game, so I'm happy it was called.. no more from me on this matter, other than, I hope the NHL continues to make the unsportmanlike conduct call everytime that happens. I never thought I would see it again, after I saw it the first time from Avery... only differences this time was he wasn't facing the goalie, big deal... still an 'unsportsmanlike' play.

I hear ya, but the rules only apply when a ref has his head out of his ass. Very very bad call. It happens, we'll get it back somewhere. Our team still looks great!:D

I hope you realize you just stated that this was not a penalty based on the rulebook, which states that the player must be facing the goalie? But you knew that already I am sure.

Thanks for finally agreeing with us

I'm sorry, from all the fans that have written on SportsHoopla... or at least what I read into from other posters... the only folks i see complaining about the call are Flyer fans.

I don't know what's sadder...that people spend their time bitching about stuff like this or the fact that I am so bored, I am on this thread reading it and posting.

Whether it was a bad call or not, that's the perspective.

I'm frustrated, you would be too if this type of incident cost you a win.
