I'll just throw out that Nate Irving was in a car accident in 2009 that led to a broken leg, collapsed lung, and a separated shoulder, but he came back to play football, and was the 67th pick by the Broncos in this year's draft.

None?

Sorry you guys didn't get to watch Nicklas play a lot this year. You would know that minus 2 shouldn't have hurt his chances. I actually think I saw him break up more two on ones this year than most of his other seasons. But there's not really stats for that or any of the other little things he does. He was the best player on the team every night this year.

Teddy Bruschi(spelling) suffered a stroke and came back to play in the NFL again as well.

I am retiring from these boards as of now. I dont do PC. Good luck to your teams in the future.

I am hated in this forum because of one night of posting. It has continued from then until now. I am tired of it. Hate more if you wish. I will not respond.

Well, I at least liked Jay Mohr. He is really funny and not in an overbearing way. Think it's his delivery.

Still though, these awards need to be back in Toronto.

I have a hard time believing that you aren't PC on the streets away from a computer.

Yeah LOL at the rookie scoring leader winning the rookie of the year award.

Skinner played with better people on his line in a bad division. The only thing he led in other than points was assists and S%. Logan was much more of a factor for SJ than Skinner ever was for the Canes

Rocky Bleier

After his 1968 rookie season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bleier was drafted into the U.S. Army in December 1968.[3] He volunteered for duty in the Vietnam War and shipped out in May 1969, serving with the 196th Light Infantry Brigade. On August 20, while on patrol in Heip Duc, Bleier was wounded in the left thigh by a rifle bullet when his platoon was ambushed in a rice paddy. While down, an enemy grenade landed nearby after bouncing off a fellow soldier, sending shrapnel into his lower right leg. He was later awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. His rank was Specialist 4.

Are you serious? Skinner was one of only 3 reasons the Canes were even close to the playoffs, the others being Staal and Cam Ward. And that bad division had the team with the best record in the East and another that came 1 win away from the Stanley Cup Final.
