Ok, not that round 1 is over I just believe no matter how good or bad you feel about your teams draft it's not that good or bad yet...so we will tune in tomorrow to see the same thing play out and we still won't know how good or bad it is...but that's ok...it's entertainment and that's why I tune in.. see you tomorrow...same bat time, same bat channel

Dallas finally took a DT in the first round!
I was actually hoping for a while that Mazi Smith would be the pick - big, strong, athletic run stuffer and pocket pusher. Our defense should be even better.

Well, the Chiefs loaded up on EDGE and didn't take the bait on a tradeup. Omenihu can lineup at DT as well as EDGE. I'd like another DT though to get Nandi's mid ass on the cutting block.

With that being said, I am very curious what happens the next two days now. Makes me wonder if there is some teeth to the DHOP to KC rumors.

I'm a tiny bit happy for the pick.

Think Philly edged Houston out of best round one draft.

On paper Philly wins the day. But I remain leery of how Carter will handle NFL life. Not from a talent standpoint, mind you. But to me the man didn't respect the process, the period between the end of his college season and leading up to the draft. I just said on my Bears board that my hunch is he'll come out strong in his rookie year. It's the seasons that follow where I have doubts. Guess it remains to be seen. Oh, BTW, LOVED the Nolan Smith pick.

Titans didn't fuck up and trade an assload for a QB. I'm counting this as a win.

The Eagles have the 66th pick after a settlement with the Cardinals for tampering with Gannon. Swap of 3rd rounders and cardinals get a fifth next year.

I was kinda hoping Seattle took him or Bresee at 20 to get a young run stuffer in the middle of that front but honestly, getting a top slot receiver to go with the other 2 and a solid group of TEs makes the Hawks offense possibly top 5 in the league. Hopefully they find an interior Oline in rounds 2 or 3 and then fill in defense depth throughout the draft. Not going to say the Hawks hit home runs but they got players that make the offense top tier and Witherspoon with Woolen and Diggs and the depth on the back end gives them one of the best secondary's in the league. Just have to get through the ridiculous Adams contract or hope he can actually play a full season and be what he's supposed to be. Need to concentrate on the trenches and later on, a RB or 2 to spell Walker. I'm actually not too upset with the draft but it could have been slightly better, imo. Just super happy they didn't reach for Levis. Obviously, the other teams felt the same way.

Question for my fellow draft experts, where does Will Levis and Hendon Hooker go today? Will we see Marte Mapu from Sacramento State go in the third round today?

I feel one lands with Tennessee. The other...I could see Oakland or Atlanta also.
