I am so sick and tired of these mock drafts and mock trades and its funny because most fans just want to see who their team will pick in the 1st and 2nd round possibly 3rd then at that point we start googling players and who they are. Then after the draft is the endless draft grades from the experts

Agreed, and those grades mean so much to teams that they just start firing their front office people as soon as they see the grade instead of how the players actually turn out. I remember so many guys panning players that turn out to be all pro type players and the teams are all butt hurt about it.

Those morons are in the media for a reason, and that reason is they're morons and suck at what they criticize. I don't give a damn what they have to say, all I care about is when they strap on the helmet can the guys they drafted play and contribute...they're just noise to fill the off season... unwanted noise by me

I always figure the Bills go after high upside players in rd1. I'd guess they hit the trenches somehow but they do need another wr

Tried a mock on PFN focusing on the trenches early, always interesting to see who slides... :
  • 27. Nolan Smith, EDGE Georgia
  • 59. Mazi Smith, DT Michigan
  • 95. Matthew Bergeron, OT Syracuse
  • 130. DeMarvion Overshown, LB Texas
  • 137. Michael Wilson, WR Stanford
  • 178. Riley Moss, CB Iowa
  • 205. DeWayne McBride, RB UAB

I'll agree that draft grades are a bit dumb. The reality is that probably only about 30% of picks pan out so you can't grade things that have such a low hit rate

I think Mazi Smith goes top 35. Steelers, Cowboys. Maybe Chiefs

I suspect the two Smiths will both be gone by their respective slots shown here. The rest seem ok.

Your top 2 will be gone. If we take Wilson or Carter.

I dam sure want Nolan Smith at 20

It's a pretty big draft in terms of QBs or DL/EDGE and that's about it.

And IMO the QBs and DL/EDGE (outside of Anderson and Carter but Carter has major ethic/passion concerns) are not as good as other classes.

IMO it's a bit of a weak class. It's not 2009 bad, but it's not great, either...

I wouldn't say "weak" but this is a ? class.

Alot of boom or bust talent there

QBs in general are always the most interesting. You might get two franchise QBs out of the top 4 but you might also get one from the next four (Hooker, Tanner, the BYU kid, DTR)

It kinda stinks that this is being hosted in KC and I'm not going but I'm not so sure this is a must see live event.
It was outdoors in Philly and we just walked right up after dinner and caught the end of it. It was a cooler scene than I expected.

Tell Pete to take Carter. Dude's a stud.
Which one...................

The one who dominated in college

Or

The one who showed up so overweight he could not do position drills at his pro day

when did Pete enter the conversation?
BUT HEY, if you see Harold on the Seattle board, tell him the Eagle Homers need their team board.

:wash:
Noice............

But sometime he did say we need Playmakers.

Like I said. Perfer Tyree Wilson over Will Anderson for reasons stated in my mock
