Hasnt he only been at UNL since June?

I dont know what experience he has from before coming to UNL.

I'm thinkin either him or Meyers moves up to AD.

He axed the UNO football program and the multiple National Title winning wrestling program in order to get their basketball program to D1.

Said they wouldn't have been able to afford to take those programs along due to Title 9

It's not neccessarily what he did as much as how he did it. He called the head wrestling coach while they were on the road at a meet, and informed him they were axing the wrestling program. There was no warning, no boosters (who were willing to help continue funding the program) were included in the decision, nor given warning that it was even being considered. It was akin to Petrino leaving notes in players lockers to inform them he was quiting and taking the Arkansas job.

Nebraska doesn't need the division a guy like Alberts will bring. There are many who won't trust him, like many didn't trust Pederson.

Cutting a program that gives the university $143K profit and has won 6 of the last 8 NCAA D-II titles of it's program is in the best interest? How is that? They said the wrestling program cost too much to have.

Shawn Eichorst.

He arrived at Miami in April 2011 so he had nothing to do with the scandles down there. He's a midwest guy from Wisconsin. He played for the UW-Wnitewater program.

He worked as Senior Associate Athletic Director @ S. Carolina from 2004 to 2006.

He worked under Alverez @Wisconsin from 2007-2011
