I mean, if you're not a fan of football/soccer, that's fine, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I just don't get why you think it's necessary to tweet out that you didn't watch any games. It likely has to do with taking the contrarian view or thinking you're clever because you somehow have a more inspired/thoughtful way of looking at things.

I didn't watch a single minute of the final

Was ziplining in St Lucia, and the attendants were all pretty well tuned in. Didn't make me incredibly comfortable getting strapped in 120 feet above the rainforest floor and the dudes in charge of double checking the harnesses were streaming the game.
