One last thing, Pepe's now scored at 2 Euro's and 2 World Cups. I can't think of another CB with a goalscoring record like that - Ramos has 23 goals for Spain and none of them came during a tourney.
Amazing he hasn’t been carded yet - I think I bet on a Pepe stomp and straight red at 3-1 anytime in the tourney

Don't know if it counts as a surprise but I think Switzerland will beat Portugal today.
Well, if I'd known they'd finally bench Ronaldo.....

Don't like this Portugal team but they are looking good. Wouldn't want England to play them in the semi finals (though it's at best a 50/50 shot that England get past France).

Real's been hitting on these youngsters lately. They keep this up they're going to win 5 Champions Leagues in a row again at some point.

/Bleeding money though, need Super League ASAP

Not sure how they keep getting work permits for these kids?

If I'm Brazil, I don't want to go to penalties especially with this Croatian keeper.

Also, I was waiting for Neymar to flop down to the turf after that contact in the box. Credit to him for staying on his feet and roofing that shot :thumb:

I was halfway paying attention but Brazil seemed content with a 1-0 nil win instead of going for the dagger with a 2nd goal. They did it to themselves

Does Neymar usually not take penalties from Brazil because to me that's like selecting Ray Bourque over Wayne Gretzky in Nagano in 1998?

I really didn’t think anyone in soccer would make this mistake again after what happened with Ronaldo vs. Spain in the Euro 2012 SF.

People who don’t learn from history etc.
