Pretty sure I said it here earlier this month but fuck me look at what we lost the last 6 years since a major tourney was in a real soccer hotbed (although I still think Euro 2020 could've been something special had Covid not fucked it).

I hope America can come close in 2026. Euro 2028 should be good in Italy and kinda weird in Turkey, hopefully they remove Morocco from joint hosting 2030 at some point. Sucks that they've basically awarded Saudi Arabia 2034 already. The location matters and those backwards hellholes hosting in the winter are just an absolute bastardization of the sport.
