City confirmed out. United apparently out too but no confirmation.

Nothing outta Italy and Spain. Perez is probably looking for one last way to completely fuck up the legacy he rebuilt in the last ten years at Real before being forced to resign. Agnelli probably crying in the back seat of a Fiat Punto.

I should mention that the CL changes that expand the competition are almost as bad as the ESL and should be stopped as well.

This fell apart in 48 hours lmao. The next time the NHL tries to go on strike or some dumb shit this is a good lesson for fans.

Does this mean that Jose Mourinho is the only Super League manager to have been sacked? No wonder he is the Special One.
Congrats to Jose Mourinho on being the only manager in ESL history to get sacked.

He really is the special one.
Too late dash.

Holy shit Agnelli’s gone too. There’s been an Agnelli involved in the governance of Juventus since 1923!

You’re a bunch of rich cocksuckers upset that teams from Bulgaria and Greece get some money you think you’re entitled to. Go fuck yourselves and wipe up the aftermath with Stan Kroenke’s hairpiece.

These fossils really think the reason young people aren’t watching as much soccer as their parents did is because of other distractions and nothing to do with the fact they’ve made the game totally inaccessible. Shitty admission ticket? That’ll be €100. Too much? Okay, watch on Sky for €50 / month just for the sports package.

Pretty easy to lose fans when that’s your idea to draw them in lol

I would get more into it if I wasn't expected to pay for Peacock Premium just to watch decent games. And for some damn reason Indy Car, which is struggling for viewers, is doing the same.

And that’s over here, which was a terrible miscalculation too because how the fuck are you supposed to grow the game in new regions when it costs a fortune to watch?

But even in lower-income countries in Europe it’s still ridiculous - to watch Portuguese Liga games in Portugal you have to pay something like €40 a month for Sport TV (and another €20 for Benfica TV if you want to watch their home games and since they’re the biggest club there by far it’s a pretty good racket). This in a country where the average monthly income is €900. No shit kids are finding something else to do - their parents aren’t going to go broke so they can watch soccer.

Money changed the game in the late 90s with Pay TV brought on by the Premier League model that enriched everybody but had the gradual effect of killing interest in the sport and gradually creating a crisis where young people just aren’t that into it. The Super League basically would’ve cemented that.
