Here I thought Southampton had stopped the bleeding with a 1-1 tie against Chelsea on the weekend, but Leeds United throttled them 3-nil today. They need to win at least three more games this season (or tie several) to be safe from relegation.

/Fortunately, West Brom and Sheffield are way way down and are almost sure to be relegated. Fulham is the fly in the ointment.

I've seen a few games in England live, and one of the best atmosphere's what actually their hated rivals, Pompey, which I have kept up with ever since that day.

My first game was an Inter match at the San Siro, so I have watched them the most in Europe.

My dad grew up in Southampton and actually was in their junior academy for a spell (never made it up to the big club). I actually visited Southampton back in '82 with my mom and dad and spent some time with my dad's brother who was living there at the time (both my dad and his brother have since passed away).

That last goal that won the game for Arsenal (and was needed as Benfica was ahead on away goals) would certainly have been ruled offside if VAR was being used.

Benfica has been terrible this season so it should be rather concerning for Arsenal that it took that much work to dispatch them.

Muller just came on the field mid game from his COVID break.

Davies swooped down left side, crossed to the middle and Kimmich let is pass right to Muller who one timed a sweet chip to the streaking Pole who merely glanced back and one timed it into the net.
