It’s too bad that game would take place in London instead of Glasgow.

Still, Scotland playing in a tournament at Hampden Park would be batshit no matter what.

Okay, I need a ruloing from the footy fans - If a defender goes to ground and gets all ball knocking it far away from the attacker who proceeds to flop over the defender going to ground in the penalty area, should the ref award a penalty kick?!? I think a fine play by the defender shouldn't be penalized by the attacker going to ground like that and as mentioned getting all ball.

If it’s in the box VAR would likely catch the flop and if anything issue a yellow to the flopper, no?

Then yeah that's weird. Was this the Bayern game? Heard it had a crazy ending.

It was indeed that game. Davies was fouled deep in the Munchengladbach end, but no call and the home team takes the ball to the other end of the pitch. The Bayern defender went to ground in the penalty area sliding to get the ball away from the gladbach attacker which he did (no contact at all and he pushed the ball far away enough that it basically ended the rush), but the forward continued going forward knowing he could hit the defender and go to ground in the penalty area (which he did) hoping to earn a penalty kick (which he did and converted).
