I don't understand MLS' expansion strategy - Team in NYC Metro is struggling to attract fans? Add a second team! Second team in LA flamed out fantastically and folded? Replace it IMMEDIATELY! We were attracting less fans than high school hockey the first time we put teams in Florida? Send them Beckham!

I think their current expansion philosophy is "if its backed by deep pockets (Man City for NYCFC/Da Silva with Orlando/potentially the LA Dodgers for the new LA team) give them a team and let them put it where they want"
