Fonte has been a fine player for Saints and I like Cedric as well. Saints have lost Victor Wanyama in midfield and Sadio Mane up front, hopefully they can fine some suitable replacements. On the one hand, it's good that the club is making money, but I think the fans would like to see the team keep some of their better players.
Most people expected Raphael Guerreiro to break out this tournament (and he really has), but Cedric has been a revelation in his own right. Save the mistake he made vs. Poland he's been rock solid defensively and I'd say he's been better going forward than Raph has, often making seamless overlaps and playing some great balls 1-2 with Sanches.

Someone might come knocking for him.

Holy Toledo, a Jeff Sly slghting.

Been busy with work and marriage stuff. I'm a married man now... is this the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning?

Well, you know what they say, first comes the wedding ring, next is the suffering...

Rizzoli gave Ozil a yellow for arguing the penalty at the end of the half :thumb:

The irony is that historically it's the French guys who are first to put their arms up :D

“Giving France a penalty was not the wrong decision. It was the right decision, just 34 years late” – Robin Hazlehurst.

another yellow :thumb:

Live blog from The Guardian:

Draxler is booked for a late challenge on Pogba. His legs connect with Pogba’s right ankle much like scissors would with a piece of card. Nasty that. Deserved yellow card. Germany yet to find that awesome possessional groove.
