This would be a bit more exciting if I didn't already own both the VHS and DVD box sets. Waiting for bluray right now. Still though, I did make a mess of my trousers when I saw this news. Now I can watch Full House on my phone while pooping. What a time to be alive.

Oh sweet Jesus. I have had like 4 hours of sleep over the last two days and in this state I did not read the whole article. Please accept my apology as you deserve much more acclaim for bringing this to my attention than I initially gave you.

I can only hope our fearless prophet Father Saget will appear in what is sure to be a glorious new series.

I've already got a plot for the pilot ( in case any network executives are reading the boards) that is sure to kill with audiences of every age.

We open with a scene featuring four children who are clearly up to something at school. Hijinks ensue until it is revealed that three are the children of DJ Tanner while the other is the child of Kimmy Gibler. The children get into some sort of trouble and are sent to the principal's office. Cut to Gibler driving her son home where she lectures him on how he can't be acting out anymore now that his father has left them.

Meanwhile DJ returns home to husband Steve who reveals that her estranged sister Stephanie, fresh out of rehab, has shown up at their door looking for a place to stay. The two sisters argue for a while before sharing a sincere moment about the regret they both have about the tragic untimely death of their sister Michelle. Sometime during this talk we learn that Uncle Jesse is currently touring with the Beach Boys in Europe and that Uncle Joey is currently staring on a sitcom very similar to Full House.

Cut back to Gibler returning to her home where Danny Tanner is waiting for her on the front door step.

"You're....back", she says, "But.....Why did you come here?".
"I heard about you and JaMarcus, and I wanted to talk" he responds, "Plus DJ made it very clear that she's seen enough of me for one lifetime. Ever since 9/11 things just haven't been the same. But more importantly, we need to talk".

Kimmy shoos her son inside and tells him to get ready for soccer practice. Kimmy and Danny head inside and Danny explains that he's loved Kimmy ever since they slept together a week before her wedding. She explains that they can't be together, that DJ would never understand.

"Well...." says Danny, "What if I told you..."

At this point we hear a horn honk in the drive way. It's Kimmy's son's ride to soccer. As the young lad is about to leave, his mom makes a comment about he should do well and play hard. The boy responds by making a comment about how he'd like to, but he doesn't want to have to clean all the grass stains out of his clothes. As he goes on to explain how the rain outside is sure to muddy his cleats we see a grin come over Danny's face. The child leaves and after another minute or so of talk Danny explains that he knows where JaMarcus is. When Kimmy asks how he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a watch. At this point the audience isn't sure what the watch means or what it represents, but it makes Kimmy burst into tears as she embraces Danny. Danny and Kimmy eventually end up doing it on the couch. As they lay on the ground post coitus, Kimmy turns to Danny and says

"Now, what was it you were going to tell me?"

"It can wait." Danny responds. "Besides, I should be heading to my hotel now anyway. I don't want to be here in the morning when DJ stops by to pick up James ( Kimmy's son)."

Since this is Netflix we can get a good shot of Saget's ass here as he gets up, puts his pants on, and begins to exit the house.

"I'll call you tomorrow", he says.

The camera follows Danny to his car. He turns on the engine and "Burnin' For You" by Blue Oyster Cult begins to play. Danny opens up the glove compartment where he is keeping a gun. He reaches into the glove compartment and actually grabs a piece of paper right next to the gun. The camera zooms in to reveal that the paper is actually a DNA test that proves he is James' real father. Danny puts the paper back in the glove compartment, puts on some sun glass, and pulls out of the driveway. Cut to black.

A lot of the new season would then be shown through flashbacks. We will learn that after the wedding, JaMarcus found out that Kimmy and Danny had a "thing" at one point. However he never learns that they actually slept together. JaMarcus threatens Danny, but it doesn't escalate past that. Then about a year into his marriage to Kimmy, JaMarcus catches Danny and Kimmy messing around in his house. JaMarcus and Danny get into a fight that leaves both bloodied during which JaMarcus swears that the beating he gave Danny was just the beginning.

After that we discover that when Michelle was in high school she began showing signs of drug abuse like her troublesome sister Stephanie. Danny sends her to boarding school against her wishes and against the advice of DJ. Michelle is to attended a prestigious all girls school in New York, but things don't go as expected when she boards one of the planes that crashes into the world trade center. The family is devastated and obviously DJ blames Danny for Michelle's death.

Danny however looks into the flight records and learns that Michelle's flight was changed at the last minute. She was never supposed to be on that plane. Digging further into the matter he discovers that in addition to working at the US department of defense, JaMarcus is also actually a high ranking member of al qaeda. It becomes clear to Danny that JaMarcus was the one who organized the terrorist attack and the one who switched Michelle's flight. JaMarcus learns that Danny knows his secret and Danny is forced to leave the country.

We eventually learn that Danny spent nearly a decade hunting down JaMarcus' closest associates in Europe and Asia. That, coupled with the war in the middle east leaves JaMarcus essentially on his own. At some point Danny calls for JaMarcus to meet him in Switzerland to settle this once and for all. Switzerland is where we learn that JaMarcus is hiding a cache of nuclear weapons.

Danny lures JaMarcus into the open and kills him in Switzerland. He takes his watch, a family heirloom that JaMarcus never takes off, and disposes of the body. He then returns to the US where the pilot episode takes place.

I've got some other stuff in mind for the back stories of Stephanie, DJ, Jesse and Joey but obviously the bulk of the story will focus on Danny Tanner.

Ideally, yes that would be the case. But this show is about a bit more than just Danny Tanner, it needs to focus on how the relationships with his family have fallen apart since the end of the original series run. I've been on the phone trying to get in contact with Netflix all day. No response yet, but I remain optimistic I can get in the writers room for this project.

Bring on 10 and 11.

But it was on Canadian Public TV and there was a multi year long gap between1-8 and 9.


It's like PBS and I think they are kind of embarrassed by the show. Would love to see new seasons.

Is this the one where the final scene is them in the car as the song "Free Bird" is playing? Or is that the sequel to this movie?

I am trying not to give any spoilers. Both movies are great.
