Last night I watched Reign Over Me for the 1st time. Wow. What a powerful movie. I think it is one of Adam Sandler's greatest performances, especially for a drama (tear jerker). Don Cheadle was good too, but Sandler definitely made the movie.

Finished watching "Hell on Wheels"...I liked it.

Different devices have different interfaces; my phone, laptop, desktop, and bluray player tablet all look different. My instant queue has all the same stuff but the suggestions and other categories all usually have similar stuff but presented in different order and with a different look.

But I don't care because $8/month is nothin' for how much we use it.

Also, waiting on Doctor Who S7.

I'm almost starting to like Clara more than Rose...and it's going to be really hard to beat Matt Smith, I started watching way back in the Pertwee days and Smith's still my favorite by far.
Leela was probably the hottest Who girl, but the barbarian persona kind of turned me off...the Scottish gal was smokin, but her voice was such that I refuse to even remember her name.

I have not seen Reign over Me, but I have been VERY impressed with Sandler's acting when he has gone dramatic. Spanglish was a GREAT movie!

I really wish he was able to do Inglorious Basterds. Seeing him as the Bear Jew would have been a shock, and really could have started a new line of movies for him, instead of more garbage like Jack and Jill or That's my Boy.

Has anyone checked out BoJack Horseman on Netflix? The cast looks promising.

I was not excited when Smith took over, but he ended up being incredible. Looking at his take after learning about the War Doctor made his take that much more impressive. The War Doctor arc also shed a lot of light on Tennants take as well. His craziness made a lot more sense in retrospect.

That said, I was mildly excited when Capeldi was announced, but I was less than impressed with his debut. I am holding my judgement for at least a season, though. I learned my lesson with Smith.

on pretty much all points. Smith had big, popular shoes to fill and ended up doing superbly. I thought Capaldi was decent to good in his debut. But that was kind of my initial reaction to Smith as well and I ended up really, really liking him in the role. I think Capaldi will grow on us similarly to Smith. Maffatt is an evil genius like that.
*Also, John Hurt as the War Doctor was brilliant casting.
