That kind of UBER stupid, slapstick comedy has not really been tried in a while. I wonder how it will land today.

I don’t want a reboot. Punny jokes don’t go old. So I think watching the old airplane movies and naked gun movies would still be appreciated by newer and younger viewers. So I don’t want a replacement for the original. I would want a whole new story.
