MWC be cool! I've been to games @ Fresno State, @ San Jose State, @ UNLV and @ Hawaii along with a game @ the Sun Bowl and drive by of @ Wyoming, @ Air Force and kicked out of @ Nevada practice as a potential "spy". lol. True story! Plus, I have seen Utah State and San Diego State on the road.

The MWC did really well against Power 5 teams last season. I think the MWC went like 10-11 or something with of course the majority of those match ups being on the road.

I think the league got at least one win against every P5 conference except the Big 12, and that's because we didn't play any games against the Big 12.

Some bad losses against G5 teams and the rest of the league beating each other up really messed up the league's rating overall though

It’s pretty obvious there’s a very large gap between the MWC and the bottom three from the Group of 5. Unfortunately there’s also a gap between the AAC and MWC. It’s not as big IMO but it exists. I was surprised to see how poorly the AAC did against Power 5 teams last season, especially because they consider themselves as members of the “Power 6.” Their record in those match ups were horrendous. It’s still a really good conference though comprised of several solid teams.

Unfortunately we don’t register very high on the relevance/conversation starter meter. Such is life for a Group of 5.

Sam Boyd Stadium. Glad UNLV no longer plays there.
