I dont see them tracking down the Nuggets for the 6 spot being 2.5 out already.

But if the Wolves could somehow get to the 6. They would have a shot against Memphis.

The play in route if they even survive that, is Suns or Warriors. Lucky if they get the gentlemans sweep.

It is not uncommon for the first time on the upswing to get swept. It is good experience for a young team. The issue the Wolves always had was taking the next step. I would love it if they could this time though.

Yeah im not saying it would be an issue if they did get swept. Just saying if they play the Suns or Warrior its definitely going to be a 4 or 5 game series.

But if they could find a way to the 6. I think they could really push memphis

A play-in is a good start. The Nugs are on a roll but they are still missing Porter Jr and Murray so definitely possible.

Beasley has lost his touch, so currently he provides no defense and no offensive value. All of his minutes should be going to Nowell anyway.


I still don't think I would. Wolves already lack shooters, adding in a D specialist that somehow makes them worse at shooting does not seem like a good idea. On a pure value standpoint I would add in a 1st instantly, just a pass on fit. I don't get why Minnesota has so much interest in him.

I say that, but Wolves defense has turned ugly recently. So a back court of Beverly/Smart could make for some interesting defense. It would be a reverse Gobert situation. Everyone would start to think KAT is a good defender because the perimeter D is so damn good. Unlike Gobert, that takes 100% of the blame for his team lacking perimeter D.
