Yep. The only reason why Donaldson is getting the edge in fWAR is defensive metrics. Trout is the most productive hitter in the AL. Again.It's not like Trout's having a down year either. A 174 OPS+ (AL leading; 2nd best of his career behind only 2013) is far from shabby, and that's with Trout's rough August.
