This is gonna be great between now and the next major. @Montalban being so triggered over Tiger is precious.

It always gives me a rooting interest in every Major. I've got my favorites but in general its "Anyone but Baldy".

To play decent golf you need a tee ball and a short game and you can break 90. imo you should rarely ever face a shot that you haven't practiced many times and have some idea what the ball is going to do.

For clarity...I meant you should rarely face a short game shot during the round that you've never practiced. I still give away shots on short game, but I see so many players that can't break 90 give away 8-10 shots or more a round the green. It takes a long time to develop an iron swing that will deliver 70% or better hitting greens, but you can learn to get up and down fairly consistently in 6 mos to a yr.

Lottery or connection?

I was there '06 and '08...badges, both connections, corporate hospitality was outstanding...made up for a wet course the second time.

I guess that's why they call it a lottery...it is difficult. I've never tried the lottery actually but my long time neighbor did for years and after over a decade of trying, he won back to back years...go figure.

It's definitely bucket list,1st time we walked all 18 thinking we might never get back, the 2nd time the weather wasn't great, we walked to Amen Corner an spent the rest of the day there, good you're getting to double dip also.

Oh yeah...winter is not very long here in GA.

March can be very spring like or maybe not, depends on the year....but indeed, the Masters marks the start of the golf season for sure!

Yep, you're not lying...we lived in your neck of the woods for 12 yrs...after the '95 nor'easter...(we got 40+" in Princeton area of NJ where we lived)...wife had enough, said we're moving back south when the kids get out of school. She was dead serious...got a new gig in ATL, the whole 9

Move to ATL summer of '96.
