If we take this at face value, the playoffs roughly project to look like this in a vacuum:

AFC:

1. Chiefs
2. Bills
3. Bengals
4. Jags
5. Jets
6. Dolphins
7. Chargers

NFC

1. Eagles
2. 49ers
3. Lions
4. Saints
5. Cowboys
6. Seahawks
7. Vikings

Mahomes could throw for 400 yards and the defense plays better in a stress free SB, I agree.
Not a bad list. But, 3 AFCE teams in playoffs? Not feeling it.

Bills need Allen to stop trying to be Superman and win games on his own merit. Last season’s meltdown was a good example. He needs to mature a bit more and play, IMO, to his enormous skills. Otherwise, team will not progress to the ultimate goal.

Miami is a huge question mark. They seem to have all the pieces, except QB and HC (long time problem for the Phins).

Jets, meh, they find very creative ways to screw things up, time and time again. Maybe Rodgers could inject some “fresh” blood, but he seems to be more worried about his persona than delivering results.

Patriots, meh, dark horse contender in AfCE that could surprise with a revamped coaching strategy. Do or die for ol’ Belichick.

Most understandable
...but who was feeling 3 NFCE teams this time last year?
That was surprising. Many battles to be fought in the divisions to have a clear picture right now.

This is a brand new year - but not for the Jets. Aaron Rodgers is no saviour.
Miami still has no O-line - Tua's going to get killed.
