The Eagles no longer make sense as a trade partner, actually. They traded for Ronald Darby from the Bills, have a promising young player in Jalen Mills, drafted rookie Rasul Douglas, who looked pretty good last week, and have another highly touted rookie in Sydney Jones who is currently on IR but will be back for next season.

uh, they won a SB after cutting "the most dynamic defensive player on the team". that was my point.

they won after letting chandler jones go.

they have proven you dont need an elite pass rush to win rings, multiple.

they will move on from butler too.

lather, rinse...you know.

They also had the depth last year to cover up Collins being gone. Now I do think the Patriots still have plenty of talent in the secondary with or without Butler but unless they are trading for a pass rusher I'm not sure this move helps them much this year.

And while they don't need an elite pass rush they at least had a pass rush last year. Nincovich, Long, and Sheard were not elite players but they at least provided a little something to make QB's uncomfortable. Against better teams these weaknesses will show up and could be what brings down the dream team so many were hyping up this offseason.

Hopefully they do. Seattle should pick him up and put him at WR so they can actually have a a player catch something in the end zone.

Oh God, I think I just roasted my team, Uhhhhh.... :bolt:

He certainly isn't putting himself in the good side of BB that's for true.. Especially considering the reports (at least I think so) that he hasn't even been that good in practice

what the heck?? that was quick. I assumed he was still ballin' as the top CB on new england's roster, had no idea he was sucking balls to start the season.

That depth came in season. Van noy was a solid get. At d-line, flowers stepped in. Etc...
Bill evaluates and makes changes around week 5. He will again this year.
If they get hendicks im happy. Solid coverage lber. Can play the edge here too.

We shall see. Right now the Patriots don't look like the unstoppable force so many predicted.

Of course.
They lost the most dynamic slot receiver in football and bradys outlet.
No mitchell hurts too. Next man up...again.

To me you can only say that saying so much before it truly hurts. Edelman gone is a much bigger deal than people realize. To me he might be a bigger deal to that offense than Gronk at this point in their careers. Gronk has lost a step with all of his injuries adding up and just not having that quick 3rd down guy is huge for that offense that thrives on sustaining drives with quick hitting passes.

No one is throwing Butler under the bus.... Simply stating facts... He hasn't played well during games and practice... BB doesn't like that... His time could be numbered

we are talking about winning superbowls, not losing weight.

The only SB the Chiefs won was before Skippy McMoose at 3rd was born, he wouldn't know anything about winning one............... well except for their week one SB win this season. That was epic.

bill doesnt like pouters. butler owes more to the pats than the pats owe butler. he'd still be at popeyes if not for a wide eyed scout who insisted he could play in the nfl.
How quickly some forget. There is zero loyalty in sports. Good luck MB I think you signed your one way ticket out of Bean town.

You don't discuss contracts in the locker room. Especially, when you're playing subpar ball.

You'll forever be in NE folklore. Hopefully you come back for some kind of celebration in 20 years.
