They seemed more focused as a team. Getting maskless Rui back and a fresh Lebron certainly helps. Vandy looking much closer to 100% too.

Only allowed 105 to the fast paced Thunder. Need to start playing some great defense and hopefully that can kickstart the lackluster offense so far this season.

They played Lebron off ball more than usual and it was effective. That really should've been the plan all along (and something they supposedly wanted to do for a quite a while, including Lebron).

Thunder missing 34 3s certainly helped too.

Ham's rotations still look effed-up even in the win. He is stuck on Prince when he should be bringing in Hachimura and Vanderbilt when offense and defense are needed. If Jeannie and Pelinka don't get rid of this guy by the trade deadline, they are going to pay for it in the long run!

He may end up part of a trade deadline move because of his contract. I don't know that Rui can do what he does defensively on 3s and Vando can't space the floor offensively. They all need spots in the rotation IMO.

Lakers are playing on all cylinders tonight and are playing better since they convinced Ham to put Reaves, DRus, and Prince around AD and James as the starting unit. Lots of good chemistry. Thomas is the high scorer tonight for the Lakers and AD is perfect at the FT line. Leading Brooklyn by six at the half!
